Fargo's Police Chief talks mass shooting response, additional training on the way

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski is talking about his department's stance on responding to active shooter situations.

"We have to make sure that we are, have all of our personnel trained up to the level that they can respond just like they did in Nashville. That's absolutely our protocol is you go after the shooter and you get in there right away," said Zibolski.

The chief says the entire department will be training this summer on responding to active shooter events. He says they'll be reviewing skill set to make sure officers are at the "top of their game".

Zibolski made the comments while appearing on "What's on Your Mind" on AM 1100 The Flag.
