(Cass County, ND) -- More charges are coming down on a Fargo man caught after running from Cass County Sheriff's Deputies in an attempted traffic stop.

The Sheriff's Office tells WDAY Radio that deputies arrested 41-year-old Jake Baumann after fleeing from the traffic stop April 19th. At around 11:30 p.m, a Deputy stopped three motorcycles near Mapleton for exceeding the posted speed limit. One of the drivers, later identified as Baumann, fled from the traffic stop location. Law enforcement did not pursue due to high rates of speed. A short time later, a deputy located the motorcycle after it crashed. Through investigation, deputies learned the motorcycle was reported stolen out of Fargo.

A perimeter was established and a drone, along with a West Fargo Police Department K-9 team, were deployed. A little over an hour later Baumann, along with his passenger, were located.

The passenger was transported to an area hospital to receive medical attention. Bauman was arrested and transported to the Cass County Jail on multiple charges. Those include a pair of felonies for Possesion of Stolen property and Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle. Additional charges include Possesion of a Stolen ID, Leaving the scene of an injury accident, Refusing to Halt and Driving Under Suspension.

Baumann is being held in the Cass County Jail.
