(Fargo, ND) — Water rescue teams from the Fargo and Moorhead Fire Departments, along with crew members from Valley Water Rescue recovered a man’s body from the Red River just after 5:30 Wednesday night.
The recovery occurred after witnesses reported seeing an individual jump into the river near Dike East in Fargo.
Crews entered the water around 4:15 to conduct a search.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police officials say the man’s identity continues to be investigated.
