(West Fargo, ND) — The West Fargo Fire Department is getting a protective vest for K-9 Mika thanks to a donation from a non-profit.
Vested Interest in K9’s is based out of Illinois – and provides bullet and stab resistant vests for service and support dogs across the country. K-9 Mika’s vest is sponsored by Don and Misty Fike of Galesburg, IL, and is expected to be delivered within ten weeks.
Each vest costs approximately $1,800 and weighs up to five pounds.
