Postal Carrier Robbed at Gunpoint in Frontier

FRONTIER (WDAY) - The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to an armed robbery in Frontier, Monday morning.

Around 11:15 a.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the armed robbery that occurred in the 5600 block of 32nd Street South, Frontier, ND.  Responding law enforcement was notified that a mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint.  During this incident, a witness advised the suspect was driving a gray, or dark in color, passenger vehicle and produced a handgun.  Deputies were notified that the responsible party was a black male, approximately 6’ feet tall, with a slender build.  The responsible party fled the area shortly thereafter; no injuries occurred as a result of this incident.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, continues to investigate this incident.
