(Fargo, ND) -- Two of the Fargo officers that were critically injured in last Friday's officer involved shooting are showing signs of improvements.

Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski says Officers Tyler Hawes and Andrew Dotas are beginning to make improvements after the fatal officer involved shooting on July 14th. The Police Department says Hawes is now in stable condition, while Dotas remains in critical condition. Both officers have stood on their feet at least once and can communicate with others.

Two others were struck in the shooting started by the now dead suspect named Mohamad Barakat. Officer Jake Wallin, who was killed in the shooting, will be buried today in Nisswa after a funeral in Piquot Lakes, Minnesota. A Celebration of Life event is planned for July 26th in Fargo at the Scheels Arena at 1:00 p.m.

Karlee Koswick was also struck by rounds fired by Barakat. North Dakota Attorney General says he spoke to Koswick recently, and she is currently out of the ICU in the hospital but still has serious injuries.
