North Dakota gas prices creep upward for holiday weekend

(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota drivers are paying a little more to top off the tank this weekend.  

As reported by Triple-A, the average price for a gallon of regular rose about a half-cent Friday to just over $3.72.

The national average fell to about $3.82 a gallon.  

Prices remain lowest in Mississippi, where the Magnolia State average fell on Friday to just under $3.30 a gallon.  

Prices were also down in California, declining on Friday to just under $5.30 a gallon.
