Fargo Police arrest man with warrant after altercation

(Fargo, ND) -- A man is in custody and facing multiple charges for assaulting police officers in Fargo.

The incident took place over the weekend, when officers went to the Bismarck Tavern in downtown Fargo to find Milford Netterville, who had a warrant out for his arrest. The officers located him outside the bar, and he was reportedly in an intoxicated and agitated state. Officials say Netterville got into an altercation with the officers, and he started yelling and refusing orders when they tried to arrest him.

Netterville was taken into custody on three counts of assaulting a peace officer, as well as preventing arrest.
