Authorities still waiting for damage estimates in Grandin sunflower plant structure fire

(Grandin, ND) --Firefighters battled an overnight fire that broke out at a sunflower processing plant in Grandin.

Grandin Fire was called to the CHS sunflower plant at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, finding a large part of the structure engulfed in flames when they arrived. With help from other nearby departments, Grandin firefighters were eventually able to get the blaze under control. It's not yet known how the fire started, and crews plan on assessing the damage later today.

No injuries were reported.
