(Grand Forks County, ND) — A Grand Forks man faces charges following a pursuit in which he hit a parked car last week.
The chase began when David Gomez took off after a police officer tried to pull him over for not using a turn signal. Multiple officers joined the pursuit and chased Gomez through several neighborhoods, with the suspect’s vehicle sideswiping a parked car at one point. He later ditched the car in an alley and officers later arrested him after they found him hiding behind a garage.
Gomez was booked into the Grand Forks County Jail on several charges.
