(Fargo, ND) — A Fargo man is sentenced to three years in prison for a rape and beating of a woman.
Authorities say the incident happened in February, when 64-year-old Terry Kern punched a woman in an apartment and sexually assaulted her after she was knocked unconscious. After the assault, the woman ran to a nearby laundromat for help.
Kern pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition and aggravated assault.
