(Fargo, ND) -- The first floor of an apartment building flooded in Fargo after a pipe burst early this morning.

The burst happened in the apartment building at 4924 47th Street east at 3:07 a.m. Three fire trucks were called to the scene to deal with the issue. Authorities say the issue was caused by a pipe break in a mechanical room, which caused the first floor of the building to flood, including apartment units and hallways.

An investigation is still ongoing.
