(Fargo, ND) -- A Fargo man will spend the next decade behind bars following the deadly shooting of a teenager last spring.
A judge sentenced 32-year-old Marcus Rexrode yesterday in connection to the death of 16-year-old James Moore.
Authorities say Moore stole a firearm before trying to rob Rexrode during a drug deal outside the Twin Parks Apartments back in May.
Rexrode claims he fired his gun in self-defense.
Murder charges were eventually dropped against him, but he was sentenced to ten years in prison for possessing a gun as a convicted felon.
