West Fargo Police arrest two after chase ends in vehicle crash

(West Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo police have arrested two suspects after an early morning chase that ended in a vehicle crash today. 

The West Fargo Police Department says officers approached a vehicle that was located in Rondezvous Park after its open hours, at approximately 2 a.m. Friday morning. As officers approached the vehicle, they say the vehicle left the scene, prompting a chase. The pursuit continued to 32nd Avenue West, where a PIT maneuver was used to stop the vehicle in the 2900 block of 13th Street West. The driver, Fargo resident Angeir Ajena (18, F) was arrested at the scene. Ansu Komara (21, M), another Fargo resident, fled the scene of the crash according to authorities. He was taken into custody a short time later. 

Ajena is facing Felony Fleeing and Reckless Endangerment Charges. Komara was arrested for Refusal to Halt and for an outstanding warrant. 

A third occupant of the vehicle was not charged and later released.
