FARGO - Red Flag Warnings are posted Friday afternoon and evening for numerous counties in southeastern North Dakota due to strong winds and dry conditions. Cass County is included in the Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 1pm-8pm. Barnes, Stutsman, LaMoure, Richland, Sargent, and Ransom Counties are also under a Red Flag Warning. Winds as high as 30-40 miles and hour can be expected, creating concerns that any fire could grow and spread quickly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended today.
