Man sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for causing crash that led to leg amputation of West Fargo teen

(Fargo, ND) -- A man was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for causing a crash that ripped the leg from a West Fargo High School Senior in a motorcycle crash.

Kolby Hunsicker was riding motorcycle along 45th Street by Main Avenue on September 1st, 2023, when 51-year-old Manon Bol Yor crashed into the teen with his vehicle. The crash led to Hunsicker's foot getting stuck in the grill of Bol Yor's vehicle. 

Authorities say Bol Yor's Blood Alcohol Content was two-times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
