Moorhead church shelter for men closing because of lack of funding

(Fargo, ND) -- A shelter house for adult men in Moorhead is closing due to financial concerns and a dip in donations.

The announcement was made by Churches United, the agency that runs the shelter.

A representative says the Dorothy Day House will close by May 3rd.

The home currently serves as shelter for 15 men.

They now must find a new place to stay.

Churches United leadership hopes the end of services at the shelter is temporary.
