MINNESOTA – All of Minnesota is under an air quality alert from the state’s Pollution Control Agency until Monday morning at 9:00.
It’s because of heavy, ground-level smoke from wildfires in central Canada.
Areas from Alexandria and Fergus Falls to Moorhead up to the Canadian border are in the very unhealthy category. Areas from Saint Cloud to the Twin Cities metro are in the unhealthy category.
You’re asked to limit your time outdoors to prevent possible breathing issues, especially if you have a respiratory illness.
