FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Taco John’s return may be on the horizon in Fargo.

According to public records, an application was submitted to bring the chain back to a building it previously resided in, 4522 26th Avenue S.

The application, which is still pending approval, was submitted by Pentex Restaurant Group, which claims to be a leading franchisee of Taco John’s on its website.

The application also calls for a remodel and repair of the building, with interior tile being replaced, new fixtures being added, and new kitchen equipment and dining room furniture. The estimated cost for this project is $600,000, according to public records.

All Taco John’s locations in Fargo-Moorhead were abruptly closed in 2023.
