(FARGO) – Cass County authorities have arrested 34-year-old Starmaine Hoeper in connection with the shooting that occurred in rural Cass County on the evening of July 31st, 2024.
With the assistance of the Metro Area Street Crimes Unit, authorities apprehended Hoeper last night in South Fargo. Hoeper was transported to the Cass County Jail and is currently being held on charges connected to the shooting and charges associated with the traffic stop last night. Those charges include:
- Attempted Murder
- Felon in Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
Cass County authorities, in collaboration with regional law enforcement agencies, continue to investigate this incident to determine whether any additional responsible parties are involved.
No further information is being released at this time. As noted in our previous statement, Cass County authorities believe this to be an isolated incident involving individuals familiar with one another.
