CASSELTON, ND – The Cass County Sheriff says authorities were called to the Casselton Reservoir over the weekend for a potential water rescue.
“We were dispatched to a report of a juvenile who had run away from home,” Sheriff Jesse Jahner said. “He was located by the family, I believe, and fled on a bike to an area near the reservoir in Casselton.”
That sent responders to the area for a possible water rescue.
“The family believed he may have gone into the water but that ended up not being the case,” Jahner said. “He was located near the bank of the reservoir and was detained.”
