FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Police say an individual is in critical condition after being pulled from the water on the Red River near the Main Avenue bridge.
Lieutenant Matt Siders tells Flag Family News that the individual, who is not being identified at this time, was seen walking on the ice before witnesses in the area saw the individual fall through and into the river. That trigged an emergency response from both Fargo and Moorhead.
The initial call came in at 2:35 p.m.
Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson said the person was pulled from the river at around 3:40 p.m. and taken to a local hospital.
