MAYVILLE, ND – Officials with BNSF Railway say several cars fell off the rails in Traill County.
Kendall Sloan, spokesperson for the railway, says it happened shortly before 5 a.m. near Mayville. Heavy winds blew several empty grain cars onto their sides.
“The cars were in storage and there was no impact to main line operations,” Sloan said in a statement.
