DILWORTH – A train derailment occurred Wednesday night in Dilworth.
BNSF Railway tells Flag Family News that the derailment affected 14 rail cars at around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Of the 14, one was a tank car of fuel oil. The railroad says the tanker was not compromised.
Main track 2 returned to service this morning, and main track two is expected to open overnight.
The cause is under investigation.
