GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Grand Forks Police Department has provided further updates on the identity of the body pulled from the Red River on September 22.
According to a release, the body belonged to 69-year-old Terri Johnson from East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Johnson was last seen alive on September 17, and it is unknown how she ended up in the river.
Preliminary autopsy results suggest that Johnson drowned. They also note that, contrary to several social media reports, the body was not bound, and there is no evidence that anyone else was involved in her death.
