Man found dead in Fargo park identified

UPDATE – Police have identified the body found in Oak Grove Park as 28-year-old Aaron Hadley who did not have a permeant address.

Authorities say they’re working with the Cass County Coroner and the medical examiner to determine how he died.

FARGO, N.D. – A man was found dead on Sunday in Fargo’s Oak Grove Park.

Police responded to the 100 block of Maple Street North near the Red River, where a fisherman spotted an unresponsive man in a wooded area.

First responders pronounced the man dead on scene.

The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case, but no further information is available. The man’s identity is being withheld to allow for notification of next-of-kin.

Those with information on the case are asked to call Fargo Police at 701-451-7660 and ask to speak to a Fargo Police Shift Commander.
