CASS COUNTY, N.D. – Authorities are investigating reported bomb threats in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office began receiving calls for service at 8:45 p.m. Thursday reporting bomb threats at different locations throughout the county.
They have determined no credible or substantiated threats have been identified, and officials say the incidents are believed to be a hoax. One specific location was identified in Kindred, and a K-9 unit was used and the area identified was cleared.
Cass County deputies conducted several building checks throughout the rural communities, along with schools, during the overnight hours to ensure ‘nothing out of the ordinary’ was present, the sheriff’s office said.
