Charges possible after train collides with pickup in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. – A 34-year-old Valley City man is sent to the hospital after a train collided with a pickup in West Fargo.

It happened around 11:30 Tuesday morning at the railroad crossing on the 400 block of 12th Avenue Northeast.

The Highway Patrol says the unnamed driver was heading the wrong way in the eastbound lane when the pickup struck the train and was dragged about 100 feet.

Authorities are still investigating the crash and say charges are possible.
