FARGO, ND – The rising waters due to recent heavy rainfall is impacting a stretch of Fargo’s Elm Street North.
The city closed the street last night between 13th Avenue North and 15th Avenue North, due to rising Red River waters. The traffic is being detoured to 3rd Street North.
Corey Hoium, City Public Works Service Manager, says the closure is needed because the high water is causing safety concerns for travelers.
