FARGO, ND – The winter warming operation opens tonight in Fargo.
It’ll be at the current site of the Downtown Engagement Center, at 222 4th Street North. It’ll be open from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. and will be able to accommodate between 50 and 55 people each night.
During an intake process, staff will work to connect individuals needing access to a winter warming overnight option with appropriate and available shelter beds in the community. Those not able to be connected with an alternate available shelter space may be considered for Winter Warming.
When renovations are complete at the new site of the Downtown Engagement Center, located at 2001 1st Avenue North, services will be transitioned. A date will be announced for the transition.
