FARGO, N.D. – By way of a 3-2 vote, with Commissioners Dave Piepkorn and Michelle Turnberg dissenting, the Fargo City Commission is moving forward on the Resource and Recovery Center.
Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney addressed the Commission ahead of Monday night’s vote.
“I’m requesting that we proceed with the relocation at this time, and support those in need at a location that better meets and moves downtown and Fargo forward,” he said.
Mahoney said there are more than 35 non-profits that will participate in the Center’s programming.
