MOORHEAD, MINN. (Valley News Live) – Moorhead Area Public Schools is now confirming that a controversial children’s book placed under review is available in their school libraries.
Officials confirmed with Valley News Live on Tuesday, October 7, stating “Since no formal request for reconsideration was submitted under Policy 606, the book remains available in the collection.”
The book, Not My Idea: A Book About Whiteness by Anastasia Higginbotham, was initially placed under review following controversy over its content on racism.
