Crews respond to early morning structure fire in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – On October 15, at approximately 2:17 a.m. Moorhead Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 1700 3rd Avenue South in Moorhead.

Crews were on scene four minutes after the call and extinguished the fire shortly after.

It was reported by Moorhead Battalion Chief Matt Brand that nobody was home at the time and the damage is pretty extensive.

Moorhead Police Department and West Fargo Fire Department assisted on scene with an investigation dog.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
