FARGO, N.D. – Fire crews had to battle two structure fires that burned just minutes apart on Thursday morning in north Fargo.
The first call came in at 6:24 a.m. at 3801 15th Avenue North.
Northern Plains Steel is located in that area.
The city of Fargo tells Flag Family News a piece of equipment caught fire and was “kept in check with an automatic sprinkler system” until firefighters arrived to completely put it out.
Crews remained on scene for a time to ventilate the building.
The second fire was called in at at 6:44 a.m. for 2800 8th Street North.
The Homestead Apartments are located at that address.
The city says a “small, smoldering fire” broke out inside a unit there that was quickly extinguished.
There are no reports of any injuries in either fire.
