HARWOOD, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Despite rumors circulating on social media, Vice President JD Vance is not scheduled to make an appearance in Harwood.
According to false reports, Vance was believed to be touring the site of a new ‘AI Factory’ in the works near Harwood.
However, protestors could be seen outside of Applied Digital Corporation’s ‘Polaris Forge 2’ site, Monday.
“We want to make it known we do not approve of the administrations and the policies at the current time. Everything from Venezuela, to the actions of ICE, you name it. The list is long,” a protestor said.
Captain Bryan Niewind with the North Dakota Highway Patrol confirmed Vice President Vance is not in town.
Amidst the confusion, one protestor said, “We didn’t get a notification. This means the federal government is coming into places and not notifying legislators of moments where they could have cross-style conversations.”
They added, “I believe in this country, but everything he (Vance) is trying to do is to make people hate me just because I believe in universal healthcare? Those are things every person in this country should be worried of.”
