RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. – A 21-year-old is lucky to not be hurt after the vehicle they were driving collided with a train in Richland County.
It happened on Friday on 165th Avenue Southeast at a crossing with just a stop sign.
The Highway Patrol said the driver was cited for failure to yield.
“Trains cannot stop quickly and always have the right of way. Slow down, look, listen, and wait,” Highway Patrol officials said on social media.
