Drivers reminded to slow down for farm equipment

BISMARCK, ND – Drivers across North Dakota are reminded to be cautious as farmers work their fields and transport goods.

The Department of Transportation’s Vision Zero program says the heaviness of farm and ranch equipment makes it extremely challenging for operators to accelerate, slow down and stop. It’s also difficult for operators to see approaching vehicles.

Drivers are encouraged to take extra precautions.
