Fargo, N.D. – Fargo Public Schools is confirming the principal of Davies High School is resigning from his position.
In a statement to Flag Family News, FPS says Troy Cody is leaving to “pursue a new career opportunity” outside of education.
Cody, who was the school principal since 2012, says he’s becoming an investment advisor at GoalQuest Financial Group in Fargo.
“My time at Davies has been the greatest honor of my career,” wrote Cody. “This place will always hold a piece of my heart.”
“I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with extraordinary colleagues, witnessing our students achieve beyond their own expectations, and building a culture that stands among the very best in North Dakota.”
A spokesperson for the city public school system says Cody’s leadership “has been instrumental in shaping Davies into a beacon of academic excellence and innovation within our district.”
