FARGO, ND – A fire engulfed a vehicle and got close to a nearby building in south Fargo.
The Fargo Fire Department was called to the 2000 block of University Drive South on a report of a vehicle fire on Wednesday afternoon. When they arrived, flames had engulfed the vehicle and damage had extended to the exterior of the building adjacent to the vehicle.
Fire crews classified the fire as a Second Alarm due to the size of the flames and proximity of the building. They were able to extinguish the fire and contain it to the vehicle.
No one was injured.
An investigation relating to the cause is under investigation.
