FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man is facing four counts of Gross Sexual Imposition after allegedly touching and kissing a 14-year-old girl in a school parking lot.
Officers were called out to the parking lot of Lewis and Clark Elementary on June 25 around 11:18 p.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
According to court documents, 31-year-old Abdallah Al Gburi was in the car, shirtless, and the minor was pulling up her pants.
Police reports show that Al Gburi met the minor on Snapchat on June 21 and had been talking over the phone and through Snapchat video calls.
The minor told an officer in a conversation away from Al Gburi that she had let him know that she was 14 years old multiple times through Snapchat. Court documents show that the two had met a few times before and that they usually talked and would make out, but no sex ever took place. Police reports do show that the minor told police that touching and grabbing did take place inside the vehicle.
In a separate police report, Al Gburi told a police officer that he was with the 14-year-old because “his friend was sick” and showed a plastic baggie that looked to have some sort of plant stems. An open bottle of Nyquil was observed as well.
Abdallah Al Gburi acknowledged to police that he knew the girl was underage, telling them “I think 17″ when asked what her age was. Al Guri told police that he added the minor on Snapchat a few weeks prior. Al Gburi told police that he had his shirt off in the vehicle because “she likes that” and denied sexual contact.
Police confronted Abdallah about the statement involving the minor putting her pants back on, to which he replied that they both “got hot.”
Court documents show that due to the minor admitting that Abdallah touched her all over her body, police placed him under arrest for Gross Sexual Contact.
On Friday, June 27, court documents state that the minor revealed during an interview with police that the victim and Abdallah Al Gburi did have sex in the parking lot of the school, and also had sexual encounters prior to the June 25 incident.
