Fargo man arrested for allegedly stabbing someone inside apartment complex

Fargo, N.D. – A man was arrested early Monday for allegedly stabbing someone inside an apartment unit in south Fargo.

Authorities say they responded just before 1am to the 1300 block of 32nd Street South, where the victim was found inside the apartment building and rushed to the hospital.

The injuries are said to be not life-threatening.

Police say the suspect, 33-year old Boimein Dahn, ran into another apartment down the hall and refused to come out.

The Red River Valley SWAT Team had to be called in to help take Dahn into custody by using a flashbang device and breaking down the apartment door.

Dahn is facing aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and preventing arrest, along with outstanding warrants, including aggravated assault out of Hennepin County.
