FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man is facing felony charge of possession of certain materials prohibited after officials found hundreds of files involving child porn and bestiality on his phone.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported in April that Google had located three files depicting child pornography in an account associated with Dennis Olsen of Fargo.
According to court documents, a special agent submitted a search warrant for Google records related to Olsen, and was able to review the files on May 7, 2025. It was determined that there were 30 illegal files involving child pornography and sexual acts involving children. Some of the victims were said to be as young as 3-6 months old.
There were also multiple files involving sexual acts performed on dogs.
Officials made contact with Olsen in a traffic stop on May 19 and placed him in handcuffs before transporting him to the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation office. They also seized his phone and electronic devices from his residence.
A search of Olsen’s phone revealed a total of 465 files of child sexual abuse material. They also found a series videos of Olsen allegedly performing sexual acts with a dog, including one where he was wearing a military uniform. They also found several images and videos attempting to record women exercising in public places and attempting to record through a keyhole in a door, and a video of Olsen pleasuring himself in uniform at what appeared to be his workplace.
A summons was filed on August 15 and he is set to be arraigned on September 4.
