Fargo man dies in motorcycle-vehicle crash

FARGO, ND – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Saturday afternoon in Fargo.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a vehicle was stopped at a red light on Westbound 29th Avenue North at Broadway on Saturday and, when the light turned green, the vehicle entered the intersection.

A motorcycle was traveling southbound on Broadway at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for the red light. The motorcycle collided with the front passenger side of the vehicle in a T-bone style crash.

The Patrol says the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to Sanford Hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The other vehicle’s driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
