FARGO, N.D. – New details are released regarding a case that led to an arrest involving SWAT early Saturday morning in north Fargo.
According to court documents obtained by Flag Family News, Fargo Police were called to the 2000 block of 13th Avenue South at 1:30 a.m. Saturday to take a report of a domestic assault. When they arrived on scene, the victim had visible injuries and stated that she was punched in the face by Ethan Erickson at his residents ‘approximately four times.’
The victim said after she was punched, Erickson pinned her on a bed, held a knife to her throat and said he would kill her, according to court documents. Erickson also allegedly put the victim in a chokehold, causing her to lose consciousness and fall to the ground.
While the victim was on the phone with a friend, Erickson could be heard saying, “I’ll -expletive- kill you -expletive-.” The friend said she ‘felt terrified by Ethan’s threats and actions.’
Erickson was taken into custody nearly five hours after police were called.
He’s facing charges of terrorizing-domestic, terrorizing-adult victim and aggravated domestic assault. A long form has also been filed for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, which was located during execution of a search warrant.
Erickson remains in the Cass County Jail.
