BISMARCK – A Fargo man faces terrorizing and unlawful possession of a firearm charges after an incident last week in Bismarck.
Court documents allege that Alex Webster, of Fargo, pulled a handgun on a student while on the Bismarck State College campus last Tuesday.
The victim reported that he was in the Lindstrom Hall parking lot tending to an intoxicated friend when Webster approached him, pulled a handgun from his person, racked a round into the chamber and pointed the firearm at the victim. The victim stated that Webster threatened to shoot him.
A second student witnessed the incident and shouted for Webster to put the gun away.
A second incident involving Webster happened on the second floor of Lindstrom Hall. That incident was a physical altercation between Webster and another person.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed in court, a previous case found Webster ‘to be mentally unfit’ to possess a firearm.
Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000 with conditions. Jail staff tell Flag Family News that he bonded out the day after being arrested.
Webster is due back in jail on December 22.
