Fargo man identified as suspect in police-involved shooting in Walker, Minnesota

WALKER, Minn. (Valley News Live) – Cass County Sheriff’s office in Minnesota released the name of the man involved in the officer-involved shooting in Walker, Minnesota.

Officers identified the man as Dillon Kloehn. On August 8, a call came to the Sheriff’s office that Kloehn was walking around in boxers, possibly with a knife, and went to a Dollar General in Walker.

Deputies arrived at the Dollar General just after 7pm and spoke to an employee that said Kloehn tried to jump over the counter at her. The employee did say Kloehn was wielding a knife. Officers advised the Kloehn to drop his knife, and Kloehn would make threats saying he was going to stab or cut officers. Kloehn would then charge the officers when an officer shot Kloehn.

Kloehn fell to the ground and took off running after suffering the wound. Kloehn was apprehended by an officer.

Kloehn is charged with three counts of assault, once charge of attempted aggravated robbery, and one count of fleeing a peace officer.
