(FARGO, ND) – A Fargo man has entered Alford pleas in a case where several internet and cable lines were cut across the City of Fargo. Timothy Windels was charged in late August with cutting Midcontinent Communications service lines at several locations on August 22. He was also seen tampering with an electrical box at the Federal Building, located at 657 2nd Avenue North. In court Thursday, he entered the pleas, which means he does not admit guilt, but acknowledges that there is sufficient evidence to convict him.
Windels was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 59 days served, along with more than $3,000 in fees and restitution.
