FARGO, ND – It’ll be two years ago on Monday when Fargo Police officer Jake R. Wallin was killed by a gunman.
The Fargo Police Department will honor the fallen officer at a memorial service Monday morning at 9 a.m. It’ll be held at the Fargo Police Department Headquarters, located at 105 25th Street North.
The ceremony will include a flag-lowering by the Fargo Police Honor Guard, remarks from Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski and Police Chaplain Pastor Jonas Bundy and a tribute video commemorating Officer Wallin’s service and sacrifice.
Two other officers, Tyler Hawes and Andrew Dotas, were injured, along with civilian Karlee Koswick. Officer Zachary Robinson neutralized the shooter.
