FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Police are investigating a pair of shooting incidents that took place on Saturday.
At just after 11 a.m., authorities responded to a local medical facility for an adult male that had arrived with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim stated that when he was leaving a residence in North Fargo, he heard a “pop” and realized he had been shot. The victim stated he informed a passerby that he had been shot and was transported to the hospital. The victim did not provide any further information regarding other individuals involved or the exact location of the shooting.
The suspect was arrested after a search warrant was executed in the 1500 block of 10th Street North, where investigators established probable cause to arrest 50-year-old Fargo resident Odus Maxwell for Aggravated Assault.
At just before 5 p.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of University Drive South on a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, all parties had already left the scene. During their investigation, a local medical facility confirmed that an adult male had been dropped off with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound seeking medical treatment.
No arrests related to this incident have been made at this time. It’s believed the involved parties were known to each other. There is no indication this incident is related to the shooting incident that occurred earlier Saturday morning.
