BISMARCK, N.D. – Fargo Police Officer Josh Marlow was named North Dakota’s Drug Recognition Expert of the Year at the Vision Zero Partner Conference.
Marlow’s specialized training allows him to identify and evaluate drivers who are impaired by drugs.
“I’m incredibly honored to receive this award,” Marlow said. “Traffic safety is a responsibility I take seriously every day, and this recognition reflects the support of my department, my team and our shared commitment to keeping North Dakota roads safe.”
The award recognizes a law enforcement officer who demonstrates exceptional dedication to traffic safety through excellence in conducting drug recognition expert evaluations, increasing awareness of the dangers of drug-impaired driving and making meaningful contributions to the goal of eliminating serious injuries and deaths on North Dakota roads.
